Shamefully bad at blogging. Plus some World Tour Finals photos...

Hello,

Yes, I am still alive. I need to get back into this blogging thing for my own good! So what better time than just after another fun week spent attending the ATP World Tour Finals at the O2, London. This year I tried very hard to resist going since the ticket price is so ridiculously high but with 1 week to go...I cracked. Then I cracked 3 more times haha!

But it was a good opportunity to practise my photography and hopefully you'll find the results somewhat worthwhile. I've uploaded the first day I went (Monday 21st November) to my Photobucket already, see here: http://photobucket.com/worldtourfinals2011_monday

The other sessions I will upload and share within the next couple of days. I also went Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday evening Semi. Once again I saw every Singles player but Federer (and Murray because of the withdrawal). I think Federer tries to avoid me, hmph and I actually wanted to see him. Though the only year I saw him at WTF (2009) was the only year he wasn't Champion, maybe it's a sign!

Enough rambling, here are some picture "highlights" from Monday's action:

I'm an official BT Olympics Storyteller!

So today was the day of the official launch of the BT Storytellers for London 2012 Olympics and I'm excited to announce that I'm one of the 100 people selected for this amazing, if slightly daunting, task.

As this blog is primarily for my tennis photography, I have set up a new blog dedicated to all things Olympics, which you will find at Storyteller London 2012 Olympic Games .

Tennis and Emotion!

I really enjoy getting up close to Tennis players when they are in the heat of a battle, as there are often a lot of passionate and emotional moments. This is one of the main reasons why Tennis is my favourite sport to watch and shoot in person. The closeness makes all the emotion seem more real. The desire. The passion. The fight. The will to win. The following photographs are some of my attempts at capturing this- all the pictures were taken last summer.
